The essence of a landscape is an interesting thing. In the moment that you observe it, what seems important to the scene may change as you break down its beauty at the macro and micro scale. Often the tiny details of a landscape are the most interesting. In landscape photography, it is often my goal to focus on the small things by putting them in context of their surroundings.
